Feeling a Little Koi

Mustard shell- target 2010,
Grey cropped sweater- shrunken and gifted from friend, Tammie,
Silk scarf- Japan via thrifting,
Skinnies and boots- you already know by now,
Koi ring- ebay. The ring was $4.95 with $5.00 shipping...
I didn't see the shipping price and INSTANTLY regretted bidding on it. I ultimately won this ring and dreaded it's arrival. Even when the ring came I regretted the purchase and hadn't planned on wearing it. When I put the outfit together i was looking through my expanding ring collection and "The Little Koi That Could" jumped out at me. It was PERFECT! And I was so happy that I had it. How's that for an underdog fairytale ending?

    That sweater is pretty dang cute, too!!

    I think you've gotten your money's worth on the boots! I think I have my cost per wear, on my boots, down to like $1 per wear now, maybe less!!

    I'm so glad that one of my tragedies (one of my favorite sweaters shrunken) could have a happy ending! i love the sweater on you and the ring is fabulous! you are my hero!!!
