Friday is the Royal Wedding!!!

Am I excited?  Why yes, yes I am!!  Lady Diana was one of my favorite people.  I admired her for her beauty and grace and the incredible way she reached out and touched peoples lives.  I was amazed at her ability to love all the children wherever she went and lift the lives of those in need!  I am sure she will be at her sons wedding in spirit!

But, today in little Colbert, Georgia life goes on pretty much as always.  And there is nothing wrong with that either.  Joy dropped by and admired my scarf which made me laugh a little.  This is just a plain scarf  that I tied with my daughters scrunchie....then "voila!"  Nice accent and a little different look.
With the heat we have had lately this was a cooler option for a
splash of color than a cardigan also.

Sequin Tunic-Wet Seal: Recycled
Scarf: PS Too
Jeans: Target- Merona-Fit 1 (these are currently available and very comfy!)
Scrunchie: From my daughter Kaja's room
Sandals:  BR-Recycled

Just add a scrunchie and you're done!

So, will you be watching the Royal Wedding tomorrow?  Some of it?  All of it?
Are you tired of everything and wonder why the Royals are still in the news?
I spent time with Ida today and I think she said it best "Well, it doesn't matter if you live in a palace or a cardboard box, as long as you believe in God.  We are all equal"
I just love my MIL, Ida!

And I will not be watching the wedding. I just don't care.I watch Diana's wedding AND funeral and I'm just not into this one. I want to see the dress and that's about it.

  4. I think Harry is best looking, too! I turned it on at 7 as they were walking out of the church. I wanted to see the dress and it did not disappoint. It was GORGEOUS!
