Remember me? I'm Lise and am the other 1/2 of this blog. First of all, Ida is just fine. I appreciate all the thoughts and concern for her and for me. I have been missing all of you!! We've just been really busy! The kids were on Spring Break and we went camping in Cherokee and made a day trip over the mountain to Dollywood-but that's a post for another day. Whew! It's been crazy! But now, I think we're back on schedule.
Right now I am reading a great book (I could spend the rest of my life reading!)
My sister Carol loaned it to me and y'all need to read it!
Peace Like A River by Leif Enger
Aren't these great flip flops? Payless! And I got them during BOGO! Wow, I have huge feet!
The leggings and t-shirt are from ATL and are sooooo comfy! It's like wearing pj's! Speaking of which.....
I have been thinking of you and wondering if you are OK. I'm glad you're back.
ReplyDeleteOh, bless your heart! I'm so sorry about all that's going on....so good to see you back! By the way, you look BEAUTIFUL!! Huge HUG! ~Serene
ReplyDeleteLISE, I'VE MISSED YOU!! I am so glad to know that you are OK...I am really into leggings right now and I love your look here...I am looking for more reasons to wear them!! Of course, I have had mornings like this..but they shall remain secret! SHHHHHH
ReplyDeleteI really like that top!
ReplyDeleteI just finished the 2nd book of The Maze Runner trilogy. And then I found out that the 3rd book doesn't come out until OCTOBER!! OCTOBER! WHAT?! Ugh!
Hahahaha!!!! I have never done that, but I am not a parent... so I actually wear clothes outside unless I'm putting trash in the garbage!
ReplyDeleteThat top is so pretty, I love it as well. It's actually warm here in Boston, and my FB status is "It's not really spring until you get your first blisters from wearing cute flats without socks". I was on campus all day (BC) and lots of the undergrads had on flipflops, but it is too early for me. Those are ADORABLE, though!
I just finished - and loved - "My One and Only" by Kristan Higgins. You think it's going to be a typical romance, but it's not, it's much deeper.
If you want, I will share my theological reading list as well. It's quite a bit deeper, but not nearly so much fun!!!
A woman after my own heart !!!!
ReplyDeleteI own tons of flops and was shamed into not wearing them by other bloggers ;)
( well, not really, but each time i donned my flippies, soemone would say, I like it all but the flip-flops ;)
Good to see you!
xXx
