I'm Sorry, Do We Know You?

Remember me?  I'm Lise and am the other 1/2 of this blog. First of all, Ida is just fine. I appreciate all the thoughts and concern for her and for me.  I have been missing all of you!! We've just been really busy! The kids were on Spring Break and we went camping in Cherokee and made a day trip over the mountain to Dollywood-but that's a post for another day. Whew! It's been crazy! But now, I think we're back on schedule.

Right now I am reading a great book (I could spend the rest of my life reading!)
My sister Carol loaned it to me and y'all need to read it!
Peace Like A River by Leif Enger

I am also addicted to tunic tops (no big surprise there) and this is my favorite (today).  Great for lounging and then taking off for a lunch outing or girls night out.  How great is that?  Kaja is my photographer and once again picks up all the great little details of the outfit!  I love the beading also, Kaja.

Aren't these great flip flops?  Payless!  And I got them during BOGO!  Wow, I have huge feet!
The leggings and t-shirt are from ATL and are sooooo comfy!  It's like wearing pj's!   Speaking of which.....

Yesterday morning I dropped my 4 kids off at 3 schools and look at the gas gauge. Waaay past empty. I pull into the gas station, hop out and it hits me. I'm in my pj's, no shoes, no makeup....nothing. *sigh*
The lady at the pump next to me leans over and says "Honey, I've had bad mornings, but I ain't NEVAH left lookin' like that".   To which I replied "They're cute pajama's".  Like that explained EVERYTHING!!! LOLOL

Have you ever had mornings like that?  So what books are you reading?

  4. I really like that top!

I just finished the 2nd book of The Maze Runner trilogy. And then I found out that the 3rd book doesn't come out until OCTOBER!! OCTOBER! WHAT?! Ugh!

  5. Hahahaha!!!! I have never done that, but I am not a parent... so I actually wear clothes outside unless I'm putting trash in the garbage!

That top is so pretty, I love it as well. It's actually warm here in Boston, and my FB status is "It's not really spring until you get your first blisters from wearing cute flats without socks". I was on campus all day (BC) and lots of the undergrads had on flipflops, but it is too early for me. Those are ADORABLE, though!

I just finished - and loved - "My One and Only" by Kristan Higgins. You think it's going to be a typical romance, but it's not, it's much deeper.
If you want, I will share my theological reading list as well. It's quite a bit deeper, but not nearly so much fun!!!
