We went shopping Saturday to return some things, exchange some things and get groceries and this is what I wore. It's seriously, frigidly cold here. I know some of you deal with weather like this all the time with snow added to it. But we don't. And I don't like it. So I'm layered up here. The vest was thrifted from Agora from Downtown Athens, the striped shirt is Gap. The jeans are Old Navy and the zipper has issues and kept unzipping all day. I don't know if I'll wear them again! I added a jacket before we left. But the red striped shirt makes me look like an elf....or a candy cane. Jakey has on his new Christmas sweater and apparently he wanted to show it off as he photobombed me!
I also wore my tacky penquin Christmas watch. Funny story. I put the watch on and asked Ben if I should wear it, he said Sure. Is it working? Yeah. It's 10 til 12 and that's what the watch says. Fast forward 2 hours. He asks what time it is....Uh. 10 til 12. I just happened to put the stupid watch on at the exact time it was stopped! Never mind that it has second hand on it that I could see wasn't sweeping! Sometimes, people, it's not gray, it's blonde. (No offense to any blonde readers out there!)
Speaking of tacky, I've decided that for the next week, or until I run out, I'm going to wear my tacky Christmas sweaters. Some of them are cute, but really, they're all kinda tacky, right? You know you love them, though, even if you won't admit it outloud. Anyone else want to join me in tackiness this week?
Here's the first one. It's a red reindeer sweater that I bought at Dollywood, of all places. It has an annoying bell on the zipper that jingles every time I move. I added a scarf because IT'S FREEZING!! I really miss summer, y'all! I'm also wearing pearl snowman earrings.
|My ear looks HUGE! I think those are Avon earrings from forever ago.|
|This is my idea of a perfect Christmas. Sun, sand, beach, and presents!!|
