Perfectly Purple

I love purple. Red is my favorite color, but purple is a very, very close second. It's just a very rich color and so perfect for fall, don't you think? Lise has been rocking the tights this week and inspried me to step a little out of my comfort zone. I found these lacy tights on our shopping trip to Rue 21. I like 'em!  I got a few looks at The Bread Basket this morning!! LOL But let me tell you something about Rue 21's tights. They are labeled as One Size Fits Most. Uh... yeah. I'm almost 5'7". They barely, and I mean BARELY made to right up under my belly button. They should say One Size Fits Most if you are under 5'4"!! But hey, they were $3. The shoes are my $2.50 find from a couple of weeks ago.

I actually had someone ask me about my makeup. I really do not have a favorite when it comes to eye makeup. I'll wear expensive, cheap, in the middle. I don't care. What I have on today is Maybelline, I think. It's a silver, black and purple pallette. I love the golds I see other people wearing, but when your hair is this silver, it just doesn't work. I wear Neutrogena Mineral Sheers Powder Foundation and the blush is Mark by Avon. Those 2 products never change. I also use Avon's Anew face cream morning and night. It's FABULOUS! And I've never met a lipstick I didn't like. The one I  have on today is my very favorite and of course, it's been discontinued. Don't you hate that?!  It's Maybelline Wet Shine Red, Red Wine.

Yesterday, I was trying to copy Rachel Bilson. Actually, I think I've seen several celebs and bloggers do this look. Anyway, I wanted to hop on that bandwagon.

So, where did you get your tuxedo jacket? ( I also LOVE penguins!)

This is a cameo ring I bought at Mall of Georgia at a fabulous new store
called Charming Charlies. If you get a chance, GO to that store. It
is seriously awesome. But don't take a boy. They are no fun in there!

  1. You look gorgeous in your purple AND in the blazer!

And really, who doesn't like penguins? :)

Boys aren't really fun shopping anywhere, are they? I wouldn't know, I have a little girl but sometimes she doesn't have much fun shopping with me either.

Kinsey, I sometimes wonder if being a child of the 80s is what makes me want to match my makeup?!
