No, that's not what I'm drinking....yet. It's the color of my lipstick. I really don't have a lot to say today other than we have some terrific readers that we enjoy hearing from immensely!! Thanks for the feedback on yesterday's post.

This outfit really would have looked better with black tights and either boots or loafers, but I didn't want to wear black. I wanted to wear RED! It makes me happy and it's the color of my Dawgs!!!

We're having a yard sale tomorrow. That should be some hilarious fun! We'll post pics, I'm sure. Have a great weekend, y'all!

By the way, the purple makeup from Wednesday was not Maybelline. It was in fact Rimmel!

  1. I love the look! The red shoes look great with the skirt and shirt. Wear the black tights and boots to dress it up!

sorry, forgot to tell you that I wish you had bought the shearling booties you said you had tried on from DSW. When I saw them I know I had to have them. I especially enjoy wearing them with my Goodwill skirt. Please go to this post to see it:

  7. Just really vava VOOM! You look great and I love how you used the red for your pop of color. Thanks so much for visiting my blog!! I think you're right when you say that there aren't that many over 40 bloggers....I'm 44, with 4 kids and my love of style has just never let up. What's nice about this age is that hopefully we have a little more time to follow our passion. Something we don't have much of (time OR passion..LOL) when we're changing diapers and responding to "Mommy, why......." 347 times a day! Can't wait to see more of your blog!! ~Serene
